ArA Harmonic

ArA Harmonic

R&B
London, UK.

Rich layered harmonies, minimal percussive production and thoughtful narrative lyricism are the hallmarks of the ArA Harmonic sounds. Since moving to London from Bristol in 2013 ArA has been mesmerising audiences with her loop pedal performances that draw heavily on 90’s RnB. Her real talk lyricism blends effortlessly with her angelic layered harmonies to produce a sound that is inspiring, emotive and empowering. Her first studio-recorded release ‘Bad habits’ was backed by Mobos x Help Musicians first roll out; the E.P. featured four tracks which showcase the range and dexterity of ArA’s talents. Heavily self-produced ArA enlisted support from a small clique of assistant producers to transform her celebrated loop pedal compositions into a diverse and distinct collection of tracks that are at times edgy and raw but which are also undercut with humanity, empowerment and a hopeful positivity. It was an exciting milestone in a career that has already seen her perform at prominent London music venues (Jazz Café, Roundhouse, O2 Academy) and festivals (Bestival, Camp bestival, Love Saves The Day, Citadel, Rising) as well as opening for legendary artist Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.
